Start from the Conversaria parking, signpost for Col de l'Arc follow the path to the Prairie de Machiret. Then take the path on the right to Font Froide (1500m). Head towards Col de l'Arc for the last part of the ascent. At the pass, unobstructed views of Belledonne, the Mathésine, and Grenoble. For the return, go back to Font Froide and take the GR Sentier Gobert southwards. This path offers a view of the Villard de Lans plateau. Follow it to the Combe Chaulange, turn right and descend to reach the Conversaria parking.
