Col de Cuch

From the Pordoijoch (Passo Pordoi) – there is a large parking lot here – hike right along the high-altitude trail no. 601, which is also signed as "Alta via delle Dolomiti 2" or "Viel del Pan" (Bindelweg), gently ascending to the Rif. Fredarola hut. On the south side of the ridge, proceed eastward on an almost level, wide path to the Rif. Viel del Pan hut. Just behind the hut, ascend steeply on the mountain side. Then hike more or less along the ridge westward to the Col de Cuch. The descent follows the ridge back to the high-altitude trail (Bindelweg), which leads back to the Pordoijoch.
