Many probably know it from afar, the Civetta rising two thousand meters above the Cordevole Valley and Lake Alleghe. Those who want to ascend the tempting beautiful summit as via ferrata enthusiasts naturally choose the brilliant "Via ferrata degli Alleghesi" via the north ridge. For regular hikers, the only recommendable route is the partly cable-secured path of the first ascenders over the east side, which requires careful walking in snow and icy conditions.
