You can also start the route via the Felsenbergweg from Herxheim am Berg.

Safety information
The route partly runs on so-called agricultural roads. These serve agricultural use and are used all year round by tractors and harvesting machines. We point out that using the paths is at your own risk and ask for mutual consideration in the interest of everyone. The agricultural roads can be dirty due to agricultural traffic. After rainy days and especially in winter, the paths can be wet and slippery. The forest paths run on unpaved forest floor. Watch out for roots, rocks, and stones to avoid tripping.
On this hiking route, you walk through the Felsenberg-Berntal nature reserve. Please do not leave the marked hiking trail. Dogs must be kept on a leash! Please do not take plants, animals, and fruits. Please dispose of any waste at home or in the next bin.

Roadbook
From the i-Punkt Kallstadt, cross the "Place of 100 Wines." Keep to the right and walk along Leistadter Straße to the traffic light at the town exit. Cross it and walk along the natural path to the left of the K4 towards Leistadt (west). At the level of the rainwater retention basin on the opposite side of the street, cross the K4 and keep left towards Leistadt. At the town entrance, continue along the street "Am Hügel" until the main street. Cross it, turn left onto "In den Weiden" and then immediately right onto "In der Nonnenhecke." You will enter the vineyards west of Leistadt. Shortly after, walk through the forest into the Rotsteig weekend house area. Here, go straight ahead and, after the area, right to get into the town of Leistadt via the "Rotsteigweg." Pass through Leistadt along Waldstraße, cross the main street, and walk into Freinsheimer Straße. Keep slightly left and reach the Berntal.
You cross the valley cut, go over the small bridge, along the narrow path, up the stairs, and reach the Riesling Hiking Trail (logo blue post with wine glass). Follow this to the left back to Kallstadt and reach your starting point, the Place of 100 Wines/Tourist Information Kallstadt.

Directions
From the north:
Motorway A6 (Mannheim/Kaiserslautern, Grünstadt exit) direction Bad Dürkheim, on B271 (German Wine Route) via Herxheim am Berg to Kallstadt
From the south:
Motorway A61 at Ludwigshafen junction onto A650 towards Bad Dürkheim. At the end of the expansion section, straight ahead towards the industrial area Trift/Grünstadt. At the second traffic light turn right towards Ungstein. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit towards Ungstein/Grünstadt. After 50m turn right towards Kallstadt (B271).
Parking
Parking lot at the "Place of 100 Wines" in the town center between the church and tourist information (parking time limited with parking disc from 12 pm for 3 hours) or parking lot at the cemetery (turn into Friedhofstraße at the level of the wine cooperative from Weinstraße, parking with no time limit possible).Coordinates
