We start at the Rosenalp and walk along the railway line towards Oberstaufen station. Upon reaching the station, the path leads us slightly downhill past the woodchip heating plant of Oberstaufen to Bad Rain. There you have the opportunity to stop at the "Bad Rain" hotel. From there, the forest path leads us through the Rainwald back to the center of Oberstaufen. Back to Rosenalp, you can go either via the station or through the town.
