Circular route from Pass Duron to Malga Stabio and back

At the Pass Duron parking lot, take the forest path to the left until you reach the chapel, then keep right. There you will find a signpost towards Malga Stabio, see also under photos. Now we walk along a path wooded with beeches and spruces to Malga Stabio. At first, the path meanders comfortably through the shady forest, then it goes quite steeply up to the alpine hut. Along the way, you have great views of the mountains and the small villages in the valley. Upon arriving at Malga Stabio, pass the first house and then you will see another house higher up, whose owners did not mind if you rest on the terrace. There you can buy delicious cheese and yogurt. The return route initially follows the same path as we came. Then a signpost follows in the direction of Pass Duron (go straight ahead). At the bottom, you will see another parking lot, but we go left and then return to the small chapel and to our parking lot. Have fun on this beautiful route.
