We start at Kleinengstingen train station and walk to the B 312 towards Kleinengstingen town center. Then we turn left onto Kohlstetter Straße. Up to the junction, it is a gravel path, then towards the Ruhlenberg new development area, where we turn left onto Sperberweg.
Next come "Hinter Berg" and "Auchtertau" (alternatively, we can go to the Gebirgler hut on the Ruhlenberg beforehand). At the junction just before the biogas plant, we keep left into the "Häule", in the forest we follow the former "Pfarrwegle" downhill to the newly gravelled forest path. Then we turn right into Kohltal, there we keep left and after 100 meters turn right again towards Weinberg. We pass the Weinberg ski hut until reaching the B 312. We follow Eichhardtstraße uphill into Panoramaweg.
At the end of Panoramaweg, we turn right towards Siedlung Berg (weekend house "Essighäusle"), after 100 meters turn right again towards Kleinengstingen town center. At the junction with Brunnenstraße, we have to turn right once more.
We then continue over Schwefelstraße to the bakery (alternative: mill, Reutlinger Str. 15, remarkable gable, then through the public "Winkel" to the bakery). After that, we follow Ludwigstraße and reach the left onto Gartenstraße to the endpoint at Kleinengstingen train station.
