AKU - trekking & outdoor footwear
A scenic route with a wide view over Lake Walen, a stop at Alp Tschingla, and the special cultural monument Paxmal as the highlight.
The hike starts above Walenstadt at the bus stop "Rehaklinik" and first ascends over meadows and through light forest. The destination is Alp Tschingla, where not only a rest is offered, but also an impressive panorama of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten opens up. From here, the path winds further and reaches the Paxmal – a unique peace monument made of stone, created by the artist Karl Bickel. The place invites you to marvel and linger before the descent follows a beautiful round route back to the starting point.
This route ideally combines enjoyment of nature, cultural impressions, and charming views.
