The route starting from Cisnădie takes hikers along the ridge of the Cindrel Mountains, offering them a wonderful view of Sibiu and the neighboring settlements. Over a distance of 55 km, the route following the Red Band marking takes hikers along Măgura Peak, Cindrel Peak, through the Bătrâna Saddle and close to the Cindrel Lakes, continuously revealing panoramas towards the Sadu, Frumoasa, and Râu Sadului valley basins.

Directions
The departure will be from the town of Cisnădie. From Sibiu, you can take a bus on the Sibiu – Cisnădie route to avoid using a personal car and have as little environmental impact as possible. The bus timetable can be found on the autogări.ro website. In Cisnădie, at the starting point of the route, you will find a map with all the information needed to follow the route. Equipment
Must have:
- Waterproof hiking boots with a grippy sole;
- Thermal layer;
- Season-appropriate clothing, including a final waterproof layer;
- Small day backpack;
- Change of t-shirt; cap/hat, sunglasses;
- Water bottle, minimum 1 l.;
- Snacks for the first part of the tour.

- Trekking poles.
