The Cima Pari - like many peaks of the Garda mountains - has no distinct shape, as it is "only" the highest elevation of the mountain ridge between the Rocchetta in the east and the Bocca di Trat in the west. However, the ascent on its south side is varied and pleasantly shady in the lower part. Those who still have "energy" can add a detour to the Rifugio Pernici. At the Bocca di Saval, at the foot of the summit, there are remains from the First World War to admire, including the Austrian field hospital. From the summit, there is a magnificent view down to Lake Ledro as well as to the Monte Cadria located to the west. At the starting point, it is the church of Pieve di Ledro that draws our attention.
Our tour begins at the entrance of the village of Pieve di Ledro. From the parking lot we go left past the Albergo Alpino and uphill on an asphalt road for 10 minutes towards Val dei Molini. After 10 minutes we reach a forest road – which we will encounter repeatedly – and then follow it for 10 minutes. We now shortcut a wide loop of this road by turning right onto a drag path. Continue through the forest, always following the markings until we meet another forest road. Turn left, continue uphill on the drag path (signposted "Monte Cocca", Mark.-No. 454). Soon we meet the forest road coming up from Moi Gagioli. Take this briefly uphill, then at the fork turn left, then again left and continue on a drag path. Over two hairpin bends, then on a long straight stretch through the forest uphill. In the area of Monte Cocca, 1404 m (easily accessible
