From Wildegg Castle, follow the yellow markers up to the ridge of the Chestenberg. You hike along this ridge in a west-east direction (partly T2). At some points, there are beautiful panoramas to the north or south. Soon Brunegg Castle is also reached. The castle is privately owned and is generally not open to the public.
For the return route, follow the marked path via P.505, P.447, and P.403 to Möriken. The onward path goes past various villas along the northern edge of the village back to the starting point.
