Chamanna da Grialetsch, 2542 m
The Grialetsch hut is picturesquely situated on a hill above two small mountain lakes. The high starting point shortens the varied circular hike. It is therefore also suitable for fit children accompanied by experienced adults, especially with a stopover as an additional attraction.
From the Schwarzhorn car park, first ascend in the direction of Schwarzhorn. Later, at a signpost, turn left and cross a large hollow beneath the Piz Radönt and the Vadret da Radönt (glacier remnant). With slight steepness, we reach the Fuorcla Radönt over scree and rock debris. From the saddle, first to a small lake. Now begins a long traverse. Although marked, it is pathless and somewhat laborious through and over blocks. Finally, one descends steeply to the Fuorcla da Grialetsch, crosses the stream, and passes the two lakes to reach the Chamanna da Grialetsch. The descent takes us via a magnificent high-altitude trail back to the Flüela pass road. From the hut, we first ascend briefly and then traverse with some ups and downs to a viewpoint at 2607 m altitude. Continue on the high trail until the ridge with rocks breaks off. Here turn left and descend through the rather steep northwest flank to the pass road. Just above the road, turn right and descend to the »Chant Sura« stop.
