Campogrosso Ring
The Campogrosso Ring winds along a circular route around the Sengio Alto group. You can start from the Veneto side (Passo Pian delle Fugazze) and return from the Trentino side (or vice versa).
From Passo Pian delle Fugazze, proceed towards the Ossario del Pasubio, then take the “Strada del Re” which leads to Passo Campogrosso, crossing the famous Ponte Avis (suspension bridge). Then descend via the “Strada delle 7 Fontane” back to the starting point. The route is almost entirely on an asphalt road, closed to traffic; the only dirt section is access to and from the suspension bridge.
The route is about 10 km long, with an elevation gain of approximately 300 m, and is rated as difficulty level E (hiking).
This area of the Piccole Dolomiti offers spectacular views: from here you can see the peaks of the Carega group and wide views over the Vicenza plain. The route crosses mixed woods, historic road sections, and varies with moderate ups and downs, ideal for appreciating nature and the history of the area (borderline during the Great War).
