Although the Ría of Muros and Noia begins just about eight kilometers away, on this short circular hike you feel as if you're deep inland. Tiny farming hamlets, cow pastures, and small cornfields form the ingredients for a pleasant stroll in the valley of the little stream Río Donas.
From the intersection at the northern edge of the hamlet Cabanamoura, we follow the road straight ahead (north) and at the next fork go right (the straight ahead path is the return route). After about 15 minutes, shortly before the hamlet Oroña (wash place on the left below), the lane forks. Here you can turn left and at the next fork right, or we continue straight and turn left into the hamlet. There, at the fork by the palm tree or hydrangea, we keep to the left downhill and at the fork by the yellow house turn right. In a wide right curve we reach a farm located somewhat above the hamlet and pass it keeping left. Soon the lane turns into a field or forest path. At the fork after the sharp left curve and the small stream, we keep left and shortly afterwards pass some houses on the left side of the path. At the T-junction before the hamlet O Castro (30 minutes) we turn right (variant to the left downwards) and in the hamlet, opposite the yellow house, turn left into the path between
