The interior with living rooms in the classical style can be visited. A walk through the landscape park transformed in the 19th century in English style completes the visit.
At the station square in Bischofswerda, we keep left and walk along Bahnhofstraße past a Saxon postal milestone dating from 1724 to the marketplace with the town hall built in classical style after the major city fire of 1813, the Paradise Fountain, and beautiful townhouses. Behind the last houses, Kirchsteig begins, a field path marked with a green stripe where some concrete slabs have been laid. This path leads us after 2.5 km to Rammenau. Following the southwest shore of Niederteich, we enter the town center. On Johann-Gottlieb-Fichte-Straße, named after the philosopher born here in the 18th century, we pass some historic buildings. At the end of Oberteich, we finally reach the beautifully situated Baroque castle Rammenau with an extensive landscape park. We leave Rammenau on the path marked with a green stripe heading north, cross the Grunabach, shortly
