Braunäcker Accessible Path
The trails are well described, so visitors can get an idea of what to expect before they set out.
It is always recommended to bring an accompanying person.
Half of the trail runs through a shady forest, and the entire path is paved throughout, making it well-suited for strollers and wheelchairs. The two barriers along the trail are easy to navigate around and do not pose a significant obstacle.
The route offers several inviting rest areas. The barbecue area near the giant sequoias is especially recommended. The seating there is easily accessible by wheelchair, though you may need a little help for the few meters from the path to the barbecue area.
Those who continue hiking to the communications tower can try out the “Music in the Forest” station there, featuring a wooden xylophone and the Herzog-Jäger-Pfad’s stick instrument. Other highlights along the route include the Celtic square fort and the striking giant sequoia.
