Roadbook
The good thing is that you hardly encounter any paved roads or tram tracks underfoot. The downside is that the Boxberg route is not barrier-free and unsuitable for strollers. This is due to occasionally narrow paths, many aboveground tree roots, and often eroded sandy trails. So you are truly out in nature.
Dogs will enjoy it, especially as they must remain on a leash.
Please don't even try it with bicycles or on horseback.
Public transport
Unfortunately, unfortunately not accessible by public transport!
However, there are train stations in Aukrug-Innien and Hohenwestedt, from where you can easily bike to Boxberg - each via Vaasbüttel or Aukrug-Homfeld.
Directions
Access is via the B430 between Neumünster and Schenefeld, specifically between Aukrug and Hohenwestedt.Parking
