Pleasant, small circular hike but very worthwhile! The vegetation changes constantly. First, it goes over open terrain around the Bommer pond, then along the forest edge with a magnificent view of the Alpstein. After crossing the road, we explore the bright mixed forest (perfect for photographing as lots of light falls) up to the Lengwiler natural ponds. The return route takes us past fields and through the denser fir forest back to the Bommer pond and the starting point.
