This is different with the variant presented here. On it, you can really stretch your legs for kilometers and also stop several times for hearty refreshments.

Safety information
The passage to the Obere Firstalm and the first part of the descent from the Suttenstein lead over extremely wet and slippery terrain. Although there is no serious risk of falling, ending up sliding involuntarily on your bottom due to the clayey soil is no fun either...Roadbook
Through mountain forest and wide clearings, we finally reach the Bodenalm. For the first time, you can see the summit cross, which is so large that newcomers might think the summit is not far away. Mistake! Just above the Bodenalm is a ski hut. From there, we follow the trail up through the forest until we reach the steep summit meadow and finally the cross on the Bodenschneid.
From the summit, walk only a very short distance back along the ascent route, then turn right. Then you pass the Rinnerspitz and over smooth rocks head north down to a junction. From there, do not go left toward the Bodenschneidhaus, but right and through the bushes, going up and down a few times. Be careful in wet weather, as it is especially slippery there! Then we come to a junction near the Krettenburg, where we keep left after a fence and reach the mountain inn Obere Firstalm.
On a slab-prepared, heavily used path, we then go down to the Untere Firstalm and up a cattle path next to the ski lift to the Suttenstein. Then we walk about 100 m to the left along a ridge into a hollow.
A narrow path steeply descends over clayey ground, and great caution is required here. Then we reach a gravel path at the edge of the forest, which meets a narrow lane. Turn right onto the road, keep sharply right at the next junction, and hike on an asphalt path next to the cable car to the Untere Suttenalm. The descent path turns left and leads into the forest. After a steep descent, we reach another junction. Keep right there and go to the Bäckeralm inn.
Just after that, leave the asphalt path to the right to follow the signpost to the valley station of the Suttenbahn. This route leads back to the starting point.
