For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before setting out, inquire about the state of the route by contacting the refuge manager on your path, mountain guides, nature park visitor centers, and tourist offices.
Roadbook
From the parking lot, take the paved road heading south and turn left immediately after the Town Hall (via Nuova).
After about 100m (Casa dai Riduc), leave the road and climb the porphyry path on the left.
Once you reach the last houses of the village, near a road junction, turn left and continue climbing along a cobbled road.
The road leaves the village and continues to the Crosere de Via area (800m).
Turn right and take the flatter dirt road that continues south.
Continue straight at the next junction and reach the Dos dei Salam area (870m).
A little to the right, near the houses, is a beautiful viewpoint over the upper Val Rendena.
The trail now descends to the stream and, after crossing it, climbs on the opposite side.
At the next junction, continue straight, and after cresting a hill, you reach the Masanel waterfalls going downhill.
Cross the wooden bridge and continue beyond following the path until you arrive, after a switchback descent, at the Canisaga area (signpost).
Turn right onto the road and head north back towards the village.
At the junction with via Nuova, turn left and descend to the next junction with the main cobbled road climbing from Strembo – Spiazzo.
Keep right and, passing through the village center, return to the starting point.
