A beautiful climb to a fantastic view at 1505 m.
From the Poserhöhe hut, you have a panoramic view of Bad Gastein, the Gastein Valley, and the Stubnerkogel. You descend via a path full of gnome wisdoms to the Kötschachtal and continue along the Kaiser Wilhelm Promenade into Bad Gastein.

Roadbook
- You start your walk at the bus stop Bad Gastein Badbruck.
- You take the path towards Höhenweg and then climb through the forest to Alpenhaus Poserhöhe.
- After a well-deserved rest, start the descent to Grüner Baum in the Kötschachtal. Caution, especially in wet weather, this path can be challenging here and there (steep, on a slope); surefootedness is a must. If you don't feel confident, you can also take the same path back down and walk to the Kötschachtal this way.
- Step via the Kaiser Wilhelm Promenade to Bad Gastein, walking on the same elevation further to the other side of the waterfall pool.
