Between the two lakes

Climbing from Fontignano, the path opens onto Lake Trasimeno and Lake Pietrafitta. The castle of Montali, that of Montalera in a characteristic position, and the view that stretches over Perugia, Montepulciano, Chiusi, Castiglione del Lago, but also much more.
From the hill just above the village that hosts the tomb of Pietro Vannucci - the Perugino - one enjoys one of the most evocative Umbrian landscapes, who knows, perhaps precisely the one that inspired the art of the great Renaissance master.
