Between blackberries and hazelnuts

This route leads to the heights of Le Vieux-Bourg, offering a superb view over the Quintin area and its surroundings. Follow the green markings from the village, opposite the town hall. You will spot the Cimes de Kerchouan and their highest point at 318 m. The moorlands and woods of Kerchouan: Remarkable sites for their wild character, classified for their fauna and flora features. This massif forms the watershed line between the English Channel and the Atlantic Ocean. Indeed, the Gouët river rises here and flows into the English Channel, while the Oust originates a few meters away and flows into the Vilaine river, towards the Atlantic.
