Deze route loopt ruim een kilometer over een wandelpad door weilanden van Staatsbosbeheer. De rest van de wandeling gaat over vrij stille wegen langs de Kromme Mijdrecht en de Bovendijk. Naamgever van de route is boerderij Bethlehem. Dit is een T-huis boerderij, met het woonhuis dwars op de stallen. Boerderij Bethlehem is eigendom van de zorgorganisatie "Reinaerde". U vindt er een theehuis en een natuurkampeerterrein.
De weilanden van Staatsbosbeheer zin tussen 15 maart en 15 juni niet toegankelijk in verband met het broedseizoen.
