Bee nature trail Sonthofen

The starting point and first station of the educational bee trail is at the Illerdamm near Sonthofen secondary school - designed by the dedicated pupils themselves. As part of their P-seminar, they have set up seven informative stations about the fascinating life of bees along a 4-kilometer route. The trail initially follows the idyllic embankment path along the Iller, where you can also discover stations 2, 3 and 4. After the fourth station, you leave the Dammweg and head towards Altstädten.

At station 5, the path leads you left onto a picturesque meadow path, which gradually leads you back to Sonthofen. Shortly afterwards, you will reach station 6, before finally reaching the seventh and last station directly at the Biberhof - a perfect conclusion that invites you to linger and observe. The nature trail combines interesting facts with an experience of nature and invites you to discover the world of bees up close.
