We start our beautiful hike at the chapel in Verscheid. The quiet Verscheid chapel is known far and wide. Countless pilgrims have hiked to it for centuries to present their intentions. First, we descend into the idyllic Fockenbach valley to the Fockenbachsmühle mill and on to the lovely Dasbach valley. We enjoy the fresh forest air and relax while hiking in the company of the small, merrily babbling brooks. Our path then leads us back up to the heights and we walk around Hochscheid. Now a real highlight awaits us, namely the view from the summit cross of the 304 m high Bärenkopp near Verscheid with sweeping views down into the picturesque Wiedtal valley! After resting on the bench with its magnificent views, we return to our starting point. The "Paganetti's" inn is looking forward to spoiling us with delicious food in a cozy, familiar atmosphere - in good weather also on the inviting sun terrace.
