A La Faloise, sur une stèle, se trouve gravé un curieux forgeron, le "tourbier" avec son grand "louchet" qui rappelle le temps où l'on récoltait la tourbe dans cette région.
L'itinéraire débute avec une portion suivant le GR124 en direction de Folleville, puis quitter le sentier pour atteindre une peupleraie et plus loin des étangs. Contourner la ferme de Courcelles pour récupérer le sentier du GR124 et retourner à La Faloise.
