A walk along the Austriaweg trail leading from the Gablonzer Hütte (Gosaukammbahn) into the south side of the Gosaukamm promises special views. Ascent with the Gosaukammbahn from the valley station at Vorderer Gosausee to the mountain station. On a wide path through spruce forest and across meadows to the west up to the Gablonzer Hütte, 1550 m, and to the neighboring Breininghütte. Now take the "Austriaweg" (trail no. 611) across steep meadows westwards up in hairpin bends, then south-westwards up and down to the north-eastern Törlecksattel, 1599 m (left branch of the Donnerkogel via ferrata). On the other side, follow the marked path downhill and level to the south-western Törlecksattel, 1576 m (left fork of the Donnerkogel normal path, see Tour 32). Turn right through a hollow down into the Schefferbergwald forest and there in a southerly direction along the steep western flanks of the Großer and Kleiner Donnerkogel up and down, later in partly rocky terrain (old forest fire zone) and down into the green Sulzkar. This is left in a right-hand bend and then turns left around a ledge into the Angerstein western slopes. Continue
