Roadbook
From the mountain station of the Dreiländereck cable cars (1,458 m), the wide alpine path leads into the hollow near the Dreiländereck hut (trail no. 603). Here you turn south. Crossing the border to Slovenia, you follow a gently descending forest road (trail no. 18) with a magnificent view of the Julian Alps to the lowest point (1,188 m).
From there, the path turns right, following a rooty forest trail in countless switchbacks (trail no. 18) to the 3-country point (1,508 m). Descending to the Dreiländereck hut and ascending to the mountain station of the Dreiländereck cable cars (1,458 m), you return to the starting point of the route.

Public-transport-friendly
Arnoldstein and Seltschach are accessible at regular intervals by public transport.
Directions
Take the A2 or B83 or B111 to Arnoldstein. At the western edge of town, an asphalt road branches off to the valley station of the Dreiländereck ski and hiking area (Seltschach).

There are ample parking opportunities at the valley station of the Dreiländereck cable cars.
