AugenBlick Route Schramberg-Tennenbronn
The AugenBlick route combines hiking quality with splendid viewpoints and diverse nature experiences.
The start and finish are at the Remsbach hiking parking lot at the Tennenbronn holiday park. Shortly after starting at the Remsbach hiking parking lot, the path runs parallel to the Auerhahn Trail and passes information boards that provide interesting facts about the capercaillie, the largest forest grouse in Europe.
The first highlight is the AugenBlick Nature Park at Purpen. From this viewpoint, there is a magnificent panoramic view towards Sulgen and the Swabian Jura. It is worth stopping here to enjoy the view and leave a note in the guestbook.
Views of the surrounding cultural landscape open up repeatedly. Information boards at the capercaillie court provide details about the bird's habitat, while a sky lounger invites visitors to relax. The paths are mostly natural and lead through open forests and fields.
For a final stop, a visit to the Schwarzwaldstube in the holiday park is recommended.

The starting point of the hike is at the Remsbach hiking parking lot - there is a Nature Park Info Star with an overview map and information about the hiking area and leisure activities. The AugenBlick route initially runs parallel to the Auerhahn Trail, which begins a bit below the parking lot at the bus stop. There, the first information board provides details about the capercaillie, Europe’s largest forest grouse. After crossing the street, a narrow path leads slightly uphill to the left, past a farm into a forest. After a few minutes, a clear view opens towards Sulgen and as far as the Swabian Jura.
At the AugenBlick Nature Park, a seating area with a panoramic board and magnificent view invites you to linger. Under the bench is a guestbook. The path continues north over mostly natural, sometimes lonely trails. Birdsong, distant tractors, and filtered light in the dense forest create an almost mystical atmosphere. An old border stone at the side of the path recalls previous sovereignty areas of Tennenbronn. Then it goes slightly downhill until the view opens into the Sulzbach valley.
At the capercaillie displaying area, you can press a button for information about the display and even hear the display song. A sky lounger next to it invites you to relax. Shortly after is a rest area with a drink station. The path leads downhill past Unterfalkenhof to the Klausenhof junction, where the route separates from the Auerhahn Trail and follows the yellow route. After crossing the street, proceed to Klausenhof and just before the chapel, turn left slightly uphill. After the barns, keep left at the high seat. The path runs almost level amid forest, meadows, and fields. At the road, turn right towards Auerhahn, passing the former Auerhahn inn with wind turbines on the horizon. At a yellow bench, the path turns right, leading through the holiday park back to the parking lot. A final meal can be enjoyed at the Schwarzwaldstube in the holiday park.
