This hike leads to a pleasant and rewarding mountain. Although the Astjoch is only a modest summit, it still offers a magnificent view. Additionally, you can experience the Lüsner Alm in all its beauty during the hike.
The hike begins at the parking lot above Nauders (Zumis). The path to the Astjoch is well marked and leads either on the wide alpine path or –left of that– on a forest and meadow trail to Roner Alm and Starkenfeld Hut. After the hut, continue a bit further on the wide path. At the fork, turn left onto trail No. 67, which climbs moderately steeply to the summit cross of Astjoch. The return route is the same.
