The hike starts from the promenade continuing from the Kusasenri observation parking lot. After crossing Kusasenri, a vast grassland, head towards Mt. Eboshi. There are east and west routes circling Kusasenrigahama, so it is good to choose different routes for the ascent and descent. As you enter the Eboshidake trail from Kusasenri, the slope gradually becomes steep. From late May to mid-June when Miyama Kirishima blooms, looking up at the summit from this trail reveals a spectacular pink carpet covering Eboshidake. The view from the summit is highly praised, offering a 360-degree panorama overlooking the Kusasenri you walked through below, with Mt. Nakadake, Mt. Takadake, Mt. Keshimadake, and Mt. Ojyodake emitting smoke in full view. Due to its excellent views from the summit, Eboshidake is also called Kunimi-yama.
