Around the Rollsbach

We begin our route at the Tourist Information in the town center and first pass the church, then go above the road on the Lourdes Grotto Path to the district of Laitenbach. Here we keep left, walk a short stretch along the road and then immediately turn right again, below house number 8, into a meadow path. The so-called Moosbach Path initially leads us past the cold Brühl over open terrain, but then increasingly into a dense fir forest. We leave this after about another kilometer and thus come back to enjoy some rays of sunshine.
Arriving in Rollsbach, we finally keep right and hike into the hamlet of Oberrollsbach, which consists of just a handful of houses. Here we follow the right of the three paths to head back towards Wieden. At the southeast side of the Tannenboden, we pass the highest point of the route before first going downhill and then encountering the final ascent of the day. Over a wide gravel path, we now reach the Laitenbach again and from there hike back the same way as we came to the town center of the small Black Forest community.
