A glance at the map does not promise any sensations on the modest elevations around the Seegraben. But there are some along the way in the form of refreshing forest solitude, orchid-adorned biotopes and fascinating views of the Danube valley and the Alps to the south.
From the center of Rossatz on the B 33 200 m in the direction of Mautern to the right fork of a side road. Follow the blue asphalt road (path no. 3) southeastwards, past cellars, to the foot of the Mugler with a fork. Continue along the road at the edge of the vineyards, later turn right into the Seegraben and there to the "Biritor", the remains of a dam (16th and 17th century) against the Turks. Continue through meadows and forest, then turn left over the Rossatzbach stream to the Helenenhütte, 260 m (shelter). Now on a dirt road up to a road that is traversed. On the other side on a red and yellow marked road (no. 5) up a shallow forest ditch to the south to a red marked forest road and up this to the left (northeast) to a road division. Continue straight ahead (eastwards), then up to the right into the saddle between Totem Berg and Pemexel. Turn left and follow the marked footpath to the northeast up to the rocky, wooded summit of Totem Mountain, 454 m. Back to the saddle and beyond
