We hike around the Hopfensee on wide paths. On the northern shore, we pass through the village of Hopfen am See, whose lakeside promenade is also called the "Allgäu Riviera" due to its numerous cafés and restaurants. Not only does a cozy stop with wonderful views of the Alps beckon here, but on warm days a visit to the beach pool is also recommended, as the Hopfensee is one of the warmest pre-Alpine lakes.
