No question, the castle and monastery ruins of Oybin are the highlight of the tour. Even when entering the old buildings, you feel the history of past centuries, and the view from the ruins over the surrounding mountains and the town of Oybin is breathtaking. Afterward, the enchanted forest with its bizarre rock towers, mysterious gorges, and moss-covered rocks takes over. Often, narrow, winding paths lead through romantic forests, past babbling brooks and old oaks, up to the high forest, where there is a wide panoramic view towards the Czech Republic. Particularly impressive is the Large Rock Passage with its numerous observation balconies, which repeatedly offers spectacular photo opportunities. The Töpferbaude invites you for a cozy stop during the main season before heading back to Oybin. Thus, the circuit impressively combines nature, history, and enjoyment.
