From there we head towards the station in Nové Město. The path leads through a forgotten picturesque valley full of holiday homes of satisfied vacationers. We continue through the forest over the abandoned settlement of Vápenice to the famous station in Moldava. This huge building recalls the bustling activity that once prevailed here in the first half of the 20th century. Here you can rest, shop, and make your way to the unique valley of Dolní Moldava.
We pass the glassworks, whose name refers to the old tradition of glass smelting. But now we are already at the edge of the valley, which with its shape and its beautiful meadows is unique. We circle it from the north to the hill Nad Moldavou and then descend into the valley. We pass the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, which looks like it came from an old movie. On a picturesque meadow path, we head towards the vanished village of Pastviny. Look around often on the way and enjoy the view and the meadows. It is a wonder.
From Pastviny, it continues over the Grünwald moor back to Nové Město and Bouřňák. This is a real excursion!
