The first half of the tour leads from Grän slightly uphill through a magnificent mountain forest to the Adlerhorst restaurant above Lake Haldensee. The inn is currently (as of autumn 2023) unfortunately closed. Nevertheless, from here, 130 meters above the lake, we have a completely unobstructed view of the surrounding peaks. Always straight ahead and past several viewpoints down to Lake Haldensee, we reach the currently unserviced mountain hut Adlerhorst, 1350 m.Via a trail (or comfortably and a bit longer via the wide forest road) we descend to the small chapel at the main road in Haller, 1135 m. Past the large Hotel Haldensee, we follow the road a short distance east. At the parking lot after the hotel, we turn right and a farm road takes us to the eastern shore of Lake Haldensee. Initially along the eastern shore, then along the southern shore,
