Around Lake Haider

We begin our circuit by heading towards Mals. Soon we step onto a newly built wooden boardwalk that leads us through the beautiful lake biotope. Ducks and other wildlife accompany our hike through this world. Over a floating bridge, we leave this rustic environment again and reach the paved cycle path, where we walk towards Reschen. With gentle ups and downs, it goes through a beautiful forest. (Please be careful here, as cyclists sometimes come by very fast!) On this side of the lake, we find cozy spots to linger and rest; benches and tables are sufficiently available for this. After just under an hour, we reach the upper end of the lake and thus the village of St. Valentin in Haide. Attention: after crossing a bridge, turn sharply right and follow the old signpost "Uferweg" (shore path). Now it continues along a gravel path towards Mals on the left side of the lake, where we walk through a moor (biotope). The view is free again to enjoy the impressive panorama of the lake and the
