The Balthasar Neumann circular hiking route was created on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the architect's death, the builder of the Basilica of Gößweinstein. It runs along streets and paths in and around Gößweinstein. It leads to the pilgrimage site Kreuzberg, to Gernerfels, to Gößweinstein Castle, to Wagnershöhe, and to Fischersruh. From all these places, you can enjoy impressive and spectacular views of Gößweinstein and its idyllic natural surroundings.
