Around Biesle in Wolfach-Kinzigtal

From the center of Halbmeil village, the path initially follows Schulstraße. After crossing the Kinzigtalbahn and the B 294, the hike ascends past the Stegbauernhof towards the Biesle recreation area. A small detour is recommended here - at the lower part of the recreation area, a small pond with a floating raft invites you to linger and relax. Returning to the route, you then enter an idyllic forest landscape. On the following path above the Biesle, a magnificent panoramic view opens up over the Kinzigtal district. The hike continues through the forest in the direction of Sulzbächle. At the lower end of the street, the railway line is crossed again before the route follows the gentle course of the Kinzig back towards the Trend camping site Halbmeil. Upon reaching the Stegbauernhof, the B 294 and the railway track must be crossed again before returning to the starting point at the Halbmeil station.
