The area around Arbesbach is rich in entertaining circular trails. On the one over the scenic Steinberg to Haselbach, you move around the Great Kamp, which on one hand presents itself as a peaceful stream winding through meadows, and on the other as a roaring mountain brook.
From Arbesbach, take the asphalt road with trail No. 6 and 80 northward up to the fork at the eastern ridge of the Steinberg. On the driveway, turn left (south) upwards to the eastern ridge and then right up to the Steinberg viewpoint, 880 m. View of Arbesbach! Return to the fork and take the asphalt road, passing wayside crosses, over meadows to the left downhill to the right turnoff of an unmarked cart track. Follow it northwest downhill to a forest road to be crossed and then (marked in red, trail No. 7) keep right in the forest descending northeast into the valley of the Great Kamp. To the right of the stream downstream to the B 119 at the Wiesinger forge. Cross the road over the Kamp to the fork beyond the bridge. Turn right onto the red-marked driveway No. 608 and 612, ascending in the forest northeast to a junction and keep left further to a fork in front of a forest meadow.
