Between Jezerca, 2694 m, and Radohima, 2568 m, the 2217 m high Arapi almost seems to disappear when viewed from above. However, from Thethi, the ascent is a considerable effort, but the "Matterhorn of Albania" is worth the effort. The south face rises 800 meters above the valley, but thanks to a relatively easy path to the Peja Pass that is hardly visible from below, it does not have to be climbed. Once in the karst, small stone towers mark the way to the summit, and suddenly the view extends to Montenegro.
From the northern road bridge in Thethi, we walk along the road upstream on the east bank of the Thethi River towards Arapi and always follow the valley course and directions to Qafa e Pejës. At the pedestrian bridge to Okoli, a district located left of the river, we temporarily leave the road, which makes a right turn, and continue along the river. Back on the road, we follow it to the fork at Bar Kroni. Here we take the right path (northeast) past the bar and pass a water source 150 m later. We cross several wide, dry streambeds, and as orientation aids besides the markings and the cardinal direction (northeast), there is an overhanging rock wall with tilted rock layers colored yellow. After leaving the coniferous forest, we ascend more steeply to this wall. The following hairpin bends lead us to Qafa e Pejës, 2 hrs to the summit. The entrance to the summit path is on the left side at the north end of the narrow mountain meadow. A thick red arrow between two white bars is painted on
