From the bus stop up to the Panzengraben via trail or road near the forest. Above Am Wald along the forest road to the marked path to the Gauermann hut. Now along the ridge down towards Waidmannsfeld, past the access to the Tabler cave (about 10 min to the cave according to the sign). Above Ungerberg, an unmarked, partly overgrown trail leads with about 100 meters elevation to the Martersberg. From there, following partly existing traces, it goes back down to the marked path. At a cross with a bench there are several descent options. After Waidmannsfeld, on path 01, another uphill section must be overcome before reaching the railway at Reichentalerhof.
