This small circular route connects the neigbourhoods of Ano Aprovatou with the beach of Koutsi and Kato Aprovatou through scenic trails and with great views.
This is a special route over the western coast of Andros, with an excellent view for almost all of the route. As the hiker starts from the location of the "Balkoni tou Aigaiou" tavern, the route follows a downhill course through steps and old paths to reach the point where the circular part begins. Here the downhill part on the left side of the fork leads through beautiful cobblestones and trails with impressive views at lower elevations. Lower, it meets a dirt road which is connected to the construction of houses. Hopefully, after construction the landscape will be restored. The path that the route follows continuously descends towards the sea, giving vivid images. At the end of the descent, the hiker finds himself at Koutsi beach, next to the sea, walking on gravel and sandy beaches. The ascent at the other end of the beach via impressive stone steps takes the hiker up to the first houses of Kato Aprovatou, walking by large yards. After a short traverse, the uphill starts again, combining paths with dirt roads and some asphalt to reach the neighborhoods of Ano Aprovatou again. In the last section the route traverses between livestock farms through a narrow path with beautiful scenery, until it finds the start of the circular route again and climbs up to the starting point.

One could take a bath as the route enters its coastal part at the beach of Koutsi. Since the route takes place in the western coast, early morning walks would probably mean shade and cool temperatures, and late afternoon walks would mean beautiful sunsets along the way.
