The beautiful and panoramic hike runs along the narrow peninsula between Hagenscher Wiek and Having. The destination is the high shore at Reddevitzer Höft at the western end of the tongue of land. Since the route is almost entirely paved, it is also well suited for cycling.> The tour begins at the Alt Reddevitz bus stop 01 and follows the small road beyond the roundabout towards the field and then turns left according to the destination "Reddevitzer Höft." We share the concrete path – on which a car occasionally passes – mainly with cyclists. We pass the turnoff to the Störtebeker Distillery 02 – which can be visited at the end of the hike – and enjoy the view over Hagensche Wiek to the harbor town of Gager at the foot of the Zickersche Mountains. The route now gains some elevation, so the view soon extends northwards over the lagoon-like bay Having. As a landmark, the Granitz forest and the hunting lodge of the same name on the 107 m high Tempelberg stand out high above the trees. Soon the tour reaches the inviting Having-Hof 03, where a stopover is recommended. Since 1896 (and thus for 5 generations now), an inn has been open here. Now only a few steps on an unpaved path separate us from Reddevitzer Höft 04. The scenic cliff at the western end of the peninsula is up to 15 m high. From here, there is a beautiful panorama of the island of Vilm. A short staircase leads down to the beach, which offers an impressive view of the steep coast. Due to frost shattering, collapses, and slips, this coast retreats by up to 20 cm each year. After a rest, return on the same path back to Alt Reddevitz 01.
