The Bunderchrinde between the Chlyne and Hindere Lohner connects Kandersteg with Adelboden. The pass is part of the multi-day pass hike "Hintere Gasse" along the Bernese high Alps from Meiringen via Kandersteg to Gsteig and also part of the official "Tour Wildstrubel". Spectacular on the varied hike over the Bunderchrinde are three views: the view of the glaciated three-thousanders of Kandersteg, the debris towers of the Lohner mountains in which the Bunderchrinde is carved, and a plate of ripe alpine cheese on the sunny terrace of the Allmenalp or on the Bonderalp.
Ascent from the valley station Allmenalp to the mountain station Allmenalp. From here follow the alpine road passing the alpine huts Obere Allme until the Obere Allme junction. Keep left and ascend across the scree slope; before reaching the pass or the Alpschelegrat trail junction, the path narrows briefly and is exposed (wire cables). Now follow the scenic ridge with slight ups and downs until the grassy summit of Alpschelehubel, where a generous picnic break is often taken. To enjoy the magnificent panorama of the Kandersteg mountain world. Return on the same path to the Alpschelegrat junction. Keep left and cross the mountain slope up to the Bunderchrinde pass. Here keep right, descend at the foot of the cliffs of Chlyne Lohner, then climb again to the Bundergrat trail junction (2456 m) between Chlyne Lohner and Bunderspitz. With a worthwhile detour of around 15 minutes, the summit of Bunderspitz is reached. Return to the Bundergrat junction and steeply downhill left to the Obere
