Alpkönigblick, the viewing tower on the Hauchenberg - Allgäu picnic spots

The path up to the Hauchenberg / Klings Hut fork is simultaneously the northern boundary of the Bergbauernmuseum. The path continues up the Hauchenberg through a wonderful mountain forest, with surprising views of the northern chain of the Allgäu Alps. It then continues along a "ridge path" leisurely to the Alpkönigblick with only slight inclines. On this high path, which is actually a Nagelfluh ridge, there are many views southward to the main Alpine ridge and northward to the individual hamlets of the Missen-Wilhams communities. When coming out of the forest, a magnificent mountain view opens up. First view of Klings Hut. Past the abandoned launch ramp for hang gliders, it goes to the Alpkönig.
