The Rauthbachrunde is also well suited for small children who want to walk the path independently. From midday onwards, the Reith-Alpe invites you in with its sunny terrace and beautiful view.

Tips and suggestions
With the Schwangau hiking pass for big and little hiking fans, you have the opportunity to explore our unique natural landscape on your own. As proof of your achievement, you will find a small wooden box with a punching tool on each route.
Simply punch the corresponding hiking route in your hiking pass and show it to the Tourist Information after completing enough hiking routes. There you will receive a hiking badge as a reward and the little hikers will get a hiking certificate.
The printed Schwangau hiking pass is available free of charge at the Schwangau Tourist Information, the info point in Hohenschwangau, at the Tegelbergbahn valley station and at the Ziegelwies forest experience center.

Roadbook
The starting point of the hike is at the Adlerlift by the Tegelbergbahn valley station. From there, a car-free road leads to the junction to Reith-Alpe. You cross the brook at a fence gap (there is a stamp station for the hiking pass here) and then follow the field path along a pasture down to the alpine hut. From midday, simple, hearty snacks are offered there. For the return journey, follow the signage back to the Tegelbergbahn valley station.
