From the parking lot of the GeoWorkshop, walk leisurely up the forest road and after about 1 hour you reach the Akogelbauernalm (not managed). Then continue along the road and after the first left bend, turn right after about 50 m onto a path (signposted). On a forest trail, after about 3/4 hour you reach a farm road. Here, keep right and follow the signpost "To the View" or "Akogel View". Once arrived, a table and a bench invite you to comfortably enjoy this wonderful view of the village of Gams, the Gesäuse Mountains, and the Eisenerz Alps.
